I tattoo four days a week, 12-8pm Wed-Sat at HHT at a rate of $125/hour. For small pieces the shop has an $80 minimum charge not including tax.

About commissioned work:

I take commissions for artwork in any medium with which I am versed. Price is based on time which can be estimated at the beginning of a project, or in certain situations a price may be agreed upon at the outset.

I love working with all ideas classic and outlandish. I also enjoy the entire spectrum of artistic stylings and am entirely comfortable working in styles that I have yet to attempt.

To commission work:

Please e-mail me with a clear description of your project, including deadline (if any). Freelance projects require the client's signature on a document of agreement covering schedule, terms of payment, etc.

My base freelance rate is $50/hour. My rush rate (for projects with a deadline less than 2 weeks from contract signing) is $65/hour. Charges may vary depending on project scope, estimated time/labor, and timespan/deadline.

Process:

  1. I will meet with you to discuss the details of the piece and gather any reference material necessary (this may include visual references or photos of the area the piece will be going etc.).
  2. If you are looking for portrait work, photographs will be taken at the location of your choosing, preferably in natural light. This ususally takes 1 to 2 hours.
  3. The artist will then create sketches from the reference material showing the subject and background as discussed. these can be mailed, emailed or shown for approval or adjustments.
  4. The piece is then painted/finished in my studio. Unless other arrangements are made, the final will be shipped to you.

A deposit of 40% is due in advance. the balance will be due upon your receipt of the commission.

Rights and Usage:

I retain the right to display commissioned art and design work on this site and any other promotional media upon completion of the work as part of my portfolio (with the exception of materials under a non-disclosure agreement). If using artwork for purpose other than personal display, please give written credit for artwork in the final material.
